Meeting Baby Carson! AKA Watson

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I including little man Kade made a trip up to Arkansas to meet baby Carson!

So here he is PRECIOUS  baby Carson who will also adoringly be referred to as Watson (well sometimes).

Kade took a quick liking to his new BFF.

Love all his hair!

Saturday we all headed to the Little Rock Farmer's Market with babies in tow. We stopped at this cute little diner for lunch before heading to see some ducks.

After lunch we walked down to this hotel that has a little duck pond so the boys could see the ducks.

Group shot including Mr. Carson in his stroller sleeping.

Donkey and Tonka!

Kade loooved the Elevators! Look at that cute face!

Pic with the new mommy! Looking good Callie!

After the morning out on the town we went back to the house to let the babies take naps. Later that afternoon we headed out for mani/pedi's. So relaxing!

When we got back to the house Carson was up from his nap and it was picture time.
The two mommies and babies in matching outfits! So sweet!

Our friend Christy (Bifi) from FBC Euless who also happens to live in Little Rock came over with her little girl Piper!

Group Shot!

Kade and I had a lot of bonding time over the weekend! He's just so cuddly!

We headed out Sunday morning but had to take one more group shot with the wonderful scenery outside of Callie's house!

Such a great weekend and makes me wish we all lived so much closer to each other so we could have more weekends like this.

Happy Easter!

My Dad celebrated his birthday right before Easter so my grandma came in town for a couple weeks which was really fun getting to spend sometime with her. Especially since the two of us love to shop!

For his birthday we went to a new restaurant in grapevine. It was really good and the group just kept growing and growing as the night went on.

My Dad has been trying to eat healthy so I decided to make him chocolate covered strawberries and write Happy Birthday on them. I mean that's kind of healthy right?

We also experienced a first! Bella had her first grooming experience right before Easter. I wanted to try and keep her cool for the summer so we decided to shave her and go for the lion hair style. Here's a pic of the before and after. She looked so precious with her little Easter bandanna!

We had a great Easter this year. We tried out a new church close to our house which was really great and then when we got back home we realized it was going to rain soon so we grabbed the dogs and took them to run at the park a little bit so they could use up some of their energy. (especially puggy)
Later that afternoon we all went over to my Aunt's house to have a family Easter lunch.

We met my sister and mom over there as well.

I stinkin love these boys! I haven't seen them as much as I would like to lately so it was great seeing them over Easter!

The boys decided to try to trick my sister and I by luring us into the playroom where they were waiting armed and ready to shoot us with nerf guns! As you can see Heather was caught a little off guard.
And last but not least Traci and I got to meet this little guy, Deacon! Our old youth minister, Chuckie, and his family were in town finalizing this little guy's adoption into their family and they had a lunch so all their Texas friends could meet Deacon. He is so sweet and not to mention so stinkin cute!

As you can see we def. connected!

Gettin our hair did!

A couple weeks ago Tonka and I had a girl's afternoon out and decided to use our Groupons for the hair bar in Plano. It was a nice pampering time having our hair washed and heads massaged followed by a styling.

These are the final products...well sort of.

 The lovely tonka aka Traci.

annnnd then there was mine.. I asked for big texas hair/ kardashian volume and this is what I got! wah wah.

Since we were both pretty disatisfied with my lack of hairdo we went back and asked them if they could fix it and this time they gave me BIG TEXAS HAIR!

The bangs are a little out of control but after about 45 minutess the curls settled in and ended up looking awesome!

Overall fun day with Tonk and all things girlie.

Baby Shower Extravaganza

A couple weeks ago we had baby shower day for Callie. The girls and I helped with the two showers. The first one was more of a family and friends brunch shower and the second one was a girl's night out type shower. They were both so much fun.

I didn't take many pics from the first shower but I got a few at the end.

Here's the lovely mom-to-be with all her gifts.

And here comes all the group shots and photo moments with the baby momma.

I believe this one went something like Traci saying "lets all pretend to kiss her belly!"
and everyone else "umm no!" haha its ok Tonk it was a nice thought.

Kade and Carson's first of many pics together!!

So cute!

The second shower was later that night and the 4 of us Traci, Jenni, Casey and my self help put together.

We went with yellow and grey mostly b/c I came across that really cute table cover and it inspired me!

cupcakes of course!

Diaper cake nicely done by Tonka!

Candy ducks that not only matched the theme but you can actually eat this time!
I'm learning from each shower we have.

We made a balloon photo booth (thank you pinterest) and we made the guys try it out before they left for the night. Next time I'll know to use more balloons but it was a good start.

The party planners and mom-to-be

Kade enjoyed himself and all the attention he got from all the ladies, especially Traci!

We had a few more presents for Callie to open. I of course had to go to baby gap b/c I have a terrible addiction but I don't think Callie or Jenni for that matter mind to much!

Our activity for the night was to decorate onesies and burp cloths. We had fabric, stencils, iron-on, paint and even a sewing machine!

Callie was dead set on doing a giraffe onesie since she's really into giraffe's right now.

our official seamstress Casey.

Jenni's finished product and our model Kade.

Callie's finished Giraffe.

I made a vest and Kade enjoyed testing it out.

Love him!

All the onesies and burp cloths. It was so much fun and not as hard as we all thought it might be.

We finished out the night with a throwback to new years 2003 when we all wore pretty much these exact same outfits and danced around to lil bow wow. And yes we have the video to prove it. Which will probably make an appearance in the upcoming future thanks to a little tradition we have.

Love these girls and so crazy to think we have known each other for almost 10 years now and have watched each other graduate college, get married, have babies and everything in between! Love it!

Looking forward to New Years 2013 reunion!!
