Traci's Married!

 Traci's Married!!

Here's a quick summary of all the wedding festivities.
I wanted to start with our traditional wedding pic and the last one we'll ever take since were all married now!

 So back to the beginning..

In October Traci decided to have one day for all her showers so people wouldn't have to travel so much. So in the morning she had her bridal shower that the mom's threw for her.

Callie had gotten sick the day before so she wasn’t able to come but thank goodness for technology so we were able to FaceTime her for pictures and to see the gifts. If you can't tell that's Callie's little face on the phone. haha

Later that afternoon we had Traci's lingerie shower at her parent's lake house.
I tried to keep the theme very girly with a cottage feel since we were kind of in the woods.

Jenni and Pilar and myself went up there early to decorate. When all the girls got to the cabin they were greeted with a little frame that told them to make fun name tags for their special gifts!

Here's some more of the decorations and snacks.

We also had a hot chocolate/ coffee bar. Which was perfect because it was actually cold that weekend!

3 of the 4 of us at the second shower.

Here's Traci's loot! She did pretty good!

Skip to the day before the wedding...

Traci and I began the wedding fun with a little pampering.
We both got manicure and pedicures so we would be good to go for the wedding.  I also made her wear a little banner so everyone would know she's a bride to be!

Later that night was the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. The dinner was at La Hacienda and it was soooo yummy!

Here's the 4 of us yet again. The Christmas decorations in the restaurant really added to the party! It was so festive.

Were both a little excited for the big day!!

Traci's parents rented us some hotel suits so all the bridesmaids and the house party stayed together and we had the bachelorette party!

Traci was dressed and ready for a party!

We had a burlesque teacher come and give us some dance lessons! We had so much fun and just laughed the entire time. She brought boas and everything!
I think she knew we were beginners because she was pretty easy on us!

Callie was probably my favorite! Great facial expressions! A+

The next morning we had a bridal brunch hosted by Traci's family from out of town. It was delicious!

After we ate and just hung out a little bit it was time to get our hair did!

Here's a group shot of all the girls who went to get their hair done.

After we left the hair salon it wasn't long until the big event!

Here's Traci and I right before she was about to go down the Aisle! She looked absolutely stunning!!

I didn't get to take many with my own camera since I was taking pictures with Traci's camera so she would have pics to look at while she was on her honeymoon.

So here's a few that I stole from facebook!

I love this picture! It's our completed group all the husbands and wives!

Both the babies were there so they thought it would be funny if I had both of them at one time! They are both so stinkin cute!

And they Lived Happily Ever After!!

I'm Getting Old!

Earlier in the month I celebrated my 28th birthday. It's crazy to think I'm only 2 years away from 30!! Oh well for now I'm still in my 20's.

So the celebrations started at work when Landon brought me flowers at lunch time. There's nothing better then seeing the front door open at work and surprise it's my husband with a bouquet of flowers. He's done that a few times so I would have to say I picked a good one!

Here's my lovely flowers

The night of my birthday we had our usual family birthday dinner. My sister was in Minnesota visiting her boyfriends family so she missed out this year but she made me this little collage of sisterly love. (Plus she brought me some good presents when she got back)

So Landon, my mom, dad and myself went to Lava Grill (my favorite hibachi restaurant) for dinner.

Friday I planned a last minute pinterest inspired pumpkin birthday party with a couple of friends.
The night started by going to a pumpkin patch in grapevine that we go to every year.

It was the perfect night to be walking through the pumpkin patch looking for the perfect one!

All together we probably got around 15 different pumpkins!

No girls night is complete without some photo opps!

Pilar couldn't resist getting some roasted corn...even though we were about to go eat.

After the pumpkin patch we went to Anamia's for Dinner. Which was delicious!
Then it was time to go back and decorate!

They all turned out so different and so awesome!

Traci made her famous Grape salad (as requested by the birthday girl) complete with the big 28 on top!

I absolutely love this pumpkin pic! Couldn't have asked for a better group to celebrate my birthday with! Such a fun night!

I went home and finished my pumpkins so here's the before and after.

Traci's Engaged!!

This post is a little late but TRACI'S ENGAGED!!

We are now in full fledge wedding mode seeing as the big day is November 24th just around the corner. However, I still wanted to celebrate the proposal. Before I share the proposal I wanted to take a look back at the history of all of us! With Traci's big day approaching it marks the last of the four to be wed! It's so awesome to know that all of us have been apart of each other's lives through so many special moments!

The first to start the trend was Jenni (aka Mastiff)
June 21, 2008

 Next up is Callie
Callie and I  happened to be engaged at the same time and it could not have been more wonderful to have someone to talk to and discuss all things wedding with!
June 20th 2009

Then it was my turn (aka Donkey)
August 7th 2009

Now to complete it all is Traci (aka Baby Tonka)
November 24th 2012

Now here's the proposal story:
So Nick had me help him with the big day. He had asked me invite them for a double date night with Landon and I. I told her we would go to dinner and then do something after.

So of course Tonka was on board. We met up that night at this cute little Italian restaurant  in Colleyville and I told Traci lets dress up just for fun which is not abnormal for me to say so she was on board. As a girl I know she would want to look super cute when the big question was popped so I had her back!

We went to dinner and everything was going good except for the crazy weather! It was raining pretty good and the next stage of the surprise was set for a park by Traci's house. Whoops!

We kept with the plan as decided so Nick asked me to see if everyone wanted to go for a walk at parr park. As I was proposing the idea to Traci it was hard to keep a straight face b/c it was def. something I would not propose seeing as how I don't like getting wet and I'm not that outdoorsy. Traci def. knows that about me so for some reason since I ( the one who never goes swimming or hot tubing with everyone else) thought going out in the rain for a walk would be fun she went with it!

I believe the conversation went like this
Me:  Hey I have an idea why don't we go for a walk at parr park!
Traci: umm isn't it raining outside?
The boys (as they pretend to look out the windows of the restaurant): oh no I don't think it is anymore.
Traci: let me check my weather app...yea there's a storm coming right at us!
Nick: Oh your phone is always wrong you can't trust those!

So off we went!

Landon and I told them we had to run by the house to get an umbrella and we would meet them there. (Sike)

Here we are right before we all left to go to the "park" I just love that Traci had absolutely no idea what was about to happen!

So in between the time that we left the restaurant I called Callie because her and her husband Casey were at the park setting things up. Little did I know chaos was about to break loose!

At this point it was raining pretty bad and had really strong winds. Callie and Casey couldn't get the candles lit and some random kids were smashing some of the mason jars. Then at one point Callie thought Casey was lost and just went into complete panic mode!

The majority of my conversation with Callie went like this:
Callie: Casey Where are You!!! Where are You!! OMG call 911!  Some kids are smashing the jars!
As dramatic as all that sounds it is now completely hilarious b/c everything turned out fine.

Somehow after all that Callie and Casey managed to get the thing set up as best they could then hid in the bushes so Nic and Traci wouldn't see them.

Nic had envelopes with things he loved about Traci written on them and she started reading a few and still had no idea she was beginning her proposal! For someone who is usually pretty quick to figure things out she was mostly clueless for the majority of the night! Good job Nick!

After Nic officially proposed he drove to Traci's parent's house where he had friends and family waiting for a special surprise engagement party!

As you can see Traci was completely surprised!

Here's the table setting burlap and lace just like the bride wanted (according to her pinterest)

The happy couple and soon to be new little family!

And of course the lovely lovely ring!

 So excited for her!!

Yea were ALL going to be Married!!

Now that we have 4 weddings just about checked off the list next is BABIES! 2 down 2 go!
